Sunday August 15, 2004 About those college classes I told you about in the last journal entry... I'm taking geology 1401 (with a lab), philosophy 1301, English 2333, psychology 2301, and CIS 1301. That's 16 hours total. As you can see, they changed course numbers on us. No more 101s, 102s, and so on. I also found out that I won't get an associate's degree. The counselor I spoke with said those are for junior colleges. CIS, if you don't know, is a computer class of some kind. We'll be taught how to make a website and whatnot in it. That'll be cool, and hopefully an easy A since I've already taught myself how to make a decent one at home out of boredom. I wasn't sure about taking psychology. I took economics last year as a general education credit for that area, so I'm basically just taking psychology for the hell of it. Oh well, it interests me. I enjoyed it a lot in high school, and I've been giving serious thought to majoring in psychology, so why not? I don't like my schedule this semester as much as last semester. I'm going all five weekdays. It'll probably feel more like high school now. And it felt a lot like high school last year. I think once I'm done with the general education crap and I get into classes that are specific for my major, it'll feel different. I start in less than two weeks - on the 23rd to be exact. I've enjoyed my summer, but it's time to get back to actually doing something.
I received my voter
registration card today. That's good news for Ralph Nader. That's all I
really have to talk about for now. I'm behind on my updates again, though,
so check back for another soon. Adios. |
