It's been almost a month since my last journal entry so I thought I'd do another. I just finished up a grueling week of school a few days ago. It's midterm time, and it was a rough one this time around. I had five tests total last week and I only have five classes. Well, six counting my once-a-week geology lab.

To make matters worse, all those tests fell on a week when I was in one of my funks. I mean I didn't feel like doing anything so I didn't do anything -- including study. I think I'll make out fine though. I received an 84 on my English final, got an 80-something on a computer test, will get my geology test thrown out (we get one drop) despite passing it, and I'm hopeful I did well on psychology and philosophy.

The funny thing about my English final was I did the take-home essay incorrectly, but in my conference with my teacher this morning, she said that it wasn't what she was expecting but "it convinced her" so I got full credit on it.

Anyway, I was going somewhere with this when I started.

Yeah, so, last week was rough and I was given a test at least once a day except for Friday and this week I have NOTHING going on. Like I said, I went to a conference with my English teacher this morning. Those conferences went on all class period today and will continue Wednesday so needless to say I didn't and won't have class today and Wednesday. CIS (computer) is right after English. Today we took a test that took about twenty minutes (I got an 86) and then we could leave. Philosophy isn't meeting at all this week because our professor is out of town.

I scheduled my conference wisely (for 9:45 am) so that I could almost sleep all the way through the would-be class period then go to CIS. So I was at school for like one hour today. Good stuff.

Tomorrow is one of my two-class days. There's never any homework in those classes and I can just sit there and listen to a lecture for a while, then I'm free. So it's nothing special.

Wednesday, again no English, CIS that I don't really even have to show up for (and probably won't), then philosophy which isn't meeting. There's a post lunch geology lab where I have to take a test so that's all I really have to do Wednesday.

Thursday's a Tuesday repeat. Two classes that aren't really important.

On Friday, English meets again but just to get an assignment in the library. Then I can go to CIS if I want to (I already have the assignment that isn't due until Monday so I don't have to show up if I don't want to) then I'm done.

So in summation: last week = grueling and tiring, this week = absolutely nothing outside of a geology lab test.
