My sister has finally learned the day that she and her husband will be moving back to the States, and that date is March 5th or what I'm calling "Black Saturday." I call it that because they'll be moving in with my mom and me... and I don't want them to. But it's more than that, really. Just read on to get a good idea of what kind of person my sister is...

Here's the funny thing. My sister, being the bitch that she is, is basically throwing herself a Welcome Home party. She "suggested" it to my mom a while back, and lo and behold it's going to happen. The reason for it being that she and Rocky will have a "long day" flying, and won't feel like seeing anyone when they first get in. So instead of being greeted by everyone at the airport, they're going to see everyone at this party the following day.

I really just think she wants her ego stroked. She wants to make a big entrance with all her family and friends waiting in anticipation of her arrival and wants many a tear shed over her. She's also been kind enough to mail her camcorder home to us so that we (meaning I) can tape all of this.

Up until today I was under the impression that my mother, father, me, and probably some of Rocky's family would greet them/pick them up at the airport and everyone else had to wait until the party. Not so. They're going to get a hotel room and stay there the first night. Then they make the grand entrance at the party. What that says to me is that I'm not allowed to see her until she says. The airport is off limits for me and anyone she knows or is related to.

I find that incredibly insulting. Is that wrong? As an act of defiance I was thinking of boycotting this little party she's throwing herself. I'll be damned if I'm going to be told when I can see my sister and where I can be on the night she flies in.

I thought that might be a little drastic though. So I guess I'll put it to a vote. Vote below. If you have any input on the subject, feel free to post it on the message boards. Actually, please post it on the message board. Make something up if you have to. No one has posted on it in over a year now.

Wow, that's tough to get centered. Screw it. Thanks for voting, ladies. I'm thinking of making the weekend my sister comes home some sort of "Strike Against..." thing. Strike Against Lame Parties, Strike Against Asses, something like that. Possibly an anti-Jennifer weekend. If you have some suggestions or would like to submit your Jennifer hate literature, email it to me sirincuchris@yahoo.com Thanks.
