I blew off another biology test. Blew it off just like I did the last one. Last time, however, I ended up a 69. That's not bad. As a matter of fact, for someone who was left so utterly dumbfounded by the questions on the test, a 69 was as good as it gets. This time was something different. I got a 58. That's with three extra points for the bonus question and five more for God-knows-what. The instructor just gave us five points. Maybe he felt sorry for us.

That puts me at roughly a 72 average with two tests left. That basically shoots down my goal of making all As and Bs for the semester unless a couple of miracles fall into my lap on the next two tests. I contemplated dropping, but it'll take the collapse of a lifetime to actually fail the class. And after I've done about 80% of the work, I really do not want to throw it all away and do it over again next semester. By my calculations I can make as low as a 28 on each of the last two tests and still pass. Adding in my lab grade will give me a few more points, so it's mathematically possible.

Oh yeah, I get two points added onto my average for missing two or fewer class days too. I guess I can do worse than a pair of 28s. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, though. I'm going to try to maintain a C, and since I'm doing so well in all my other classes, I should come out looking very well. As of right now, I'm pretty sure that I have As in all four of my other classes. Sociology is a breeze, speech is easy, Fitness and wellness and bowling are blow-offs, and History is quite difficult, but I still have a 92. So that's where I am entering the homestretch of the semester.

I guess since my sister and her husband have been back in the U.S. and living with my mom and I for more than a month now, I should talk about that. Not much to say, really. They're actually rarely here even though neither have jobs or presently a car. Their car takes two months to ship over here from Germany. They'll get it next month. Their dog, Kobe, is the one who most annoys me. He's my sister's cocker spaniel. When she leaves, he howls and cries. If I'm in bed and she leaves, I'm not going to get anymore sleep. He's extremely needy, spoiled, and smelly.

She also lets him on the furniture. I hate that. I don't want to sit on the couch and smell like a dog for it. He got one of the pillows on the couch dirty. It's gross. I'd throw him outside with her other dog, Rowdy, but that would just get fleas in the house since I'm sure he'd get them outside and my sister would bring him back in when she got home.

Today they left to go to Missouri. They'll be gone until Monday. Yay! They're going to visit some of Rocky's family. I'll take it.
